Hello December!

I had to be away from my classroom for a few days to travel to Florida for my mom's memorial service.   It was good to spend time with family remembering Mom. This is where we were...(sigh)...

When I returned to school the kids were so happy to see me and I really did miss them, too! :)  They were so well-behaved for the sub and I am thankful for that. This class is such a fun group and they make my job so enjoyable...most of the time! ;) ;)

We spent some time yesterday decorating our classroom...Dr. Seuss style, of course! :) This ornament idea came to me while trying to fall asleep one night. I think they turned out so cute!

The kiddos worked together with their "desk groups" to make red and white paper chains to decorate our room. We also have a very special project that we will be working on during these next 2 weeks before Christmas break. I really hope you parents will be impressed when we're done. :)
